I read something on a blog that they posted from&lt;BR/&gt;Florida that their taxes were high and paying $4,700. Well that's nothing we are paying over $8,000 a year in property taxes.. A few house down the street is paying $13,000 and our houses are selling between $300,000 - $450,000. &lt;BR/&gt;So we need out. !! &lt;BR/&gt;Does anyone know why there are more houses in Palm Coast for Rent then Port Orange. II can't decide between the 2 areas. Houses are cheaper in Palm Coast but I heard there is nothing to do there.. In Port Orange you have alot of action through out the year because of Daytona so close... Can anyone give advise... We are a young family with kids and the oldest is going into high school next year.. Any advice on the Schools. I heard Spruce Creek is a good school. A possible scenario is that the bank is aware they screwed up on loaning way over a property's worth, and some VP in the bank is concerned with his job, so he bids "what they are owed"... &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;SECOND, armed with solid information, meet with the decision maker at the bank. Discuss and negotiate based on your findings and not on "what the bank paid". The bank knows it's upside down on this deal and they are only trying to salvage as much money as possible.
